VRX Voice Recording Software

 

VRX is a PC software to record and manage voices, telephone conversations (including VoIP), wireless communication and related information coming from Teknikom voice recording products. VRX can handle up to 8 devices connected to a single computer (any combination is accepted).


GENERAL:

  • VRX has been developed to be used with TEKNIKOM voice recorders (USB, Ethernet, PCI).
  • VRX is capable to handle any combination of 8 recorders on same computer. All recordings are stored in computer’s fixed disk.
  • Client/Service architecture allows recording without need of user log-in.
  • Recorders on several sites can be accessed on client window.
  • Multiple users with different authorizations can be logged-in simultaneously.
  • In case user doesn't have static IP, VRX can send latest IP number to the programmed receipants via e-mail.
  • Powerful network support allows users to access all features via local network and internet.

  • VRX can record VoIP communications without need of any hardware equipped.
  • Recordings made over a single IP-phone or network switch or VoIP gateway.

  • Unlimited number of users to access recordings via network/internet.
  • Supported VoIP protocols: SIP 1.0 and SIP 2.0
  • Supported codecs: G.711 A/u-Law, G.722, G.729a, GSM 6.10, iLBC RTP.


LIVE TRACE:

  • Calling party’s number and related information is displayed before answering the call. Users may open the caller’s info page by double clicking the channel line.
  • Called numbers and stored information are displayed.
  • Ongoing conversations can be monitored/listened on local computer, network computer and over internet.
  • Authorized users may activate Manuel recording.
  • Auto log-in to multiple sites can be programmed.
  • Recordings can be flagged as “important” during or after recording.
  • Certain moments can be marked during conversation in order to find exact position easily later on.


RECORDING:

  • Recordings can be started according line status or voice level (vox).
  • Line voltages and signal levels are measured and displayed for easy set-up.
  • Several compression algorithms are supported. Call information is stored as tags when MP3 compression is selected.
  • Recording level can be set as “automatic” or one of 7 levels.
  • Long conversations can be divided and numbered as shorter recordings.


SEARCH:

  • Past recordings can be searched according line, direction, date/time, duration, telephone number, phone book name, added note and importance.
  • Missed calls can be listed.
  • Important calls can be marked to be filtered later.
  • Bookmarks and explanations can be added to certain points of conversation.
  • Notes can be added to recordings and recordings can be searched according to notes.
  • Recordings of different devices are symbolized with different icons. Search can be started on an individual type of channel.
  • While recording wireless communication, CCIR 5-tone signals are used to distinguish and identify each person talking. Multiple recordings can be played as a single conversation.
  • Recordings can be played back via VRX’s player or windows media player.


NETWORK SUPPORT:

  • All features are accessible via network (intranet/internet).
  • No degradation of performance occurs when accessed via network.
  • Bandwidth is 8Kbit/s during playback of VR and 29Kbit/s during playback of Orka.
  • Network support is enabled with optional “Network License Key”.


PHONE BOOK:

  • Frequently used numbers can be stored in built-in phone book.
  • Additional information (address, note, e-mail address) is also stored in phone book.
  • More than one number can be assigned to a single name.
  • Stored name is displayed together with the telephone number on trace and search windows.
  • Information can be transferred to/from other applications such as Outlook, Excel etc.


GRAPHICS - STATISTICS:

  • Program comes with predefined graphics for easy analyzing telephone traffic.
  • Users may define as many graphics as needed.
  • Graphics can be defined as public or private use.


SECURITY:

  • Several user profiles can be defined with different authorizations on different channels.
  • Each profile may have an authorization level on all or individual channels such as None/Trace/Listen/Edit/Delete. Each authorization level covers the lower ones.
  • As many users as necessary can be created by using existing profiles.


ADMINISTRATION:

  • User and system activities are stored in a log file.
  • System administrator is able to perform below managements;
  • User authorizations and passwords,
  • Line activation methods, renaming and other settings,
  • E-mail rule creation/modify/delete,
  • Enabling/disabling recording calls to/from certain numbers,
  • Enabling service auto restart facility and time,
  • Compression algorithm,
  • Auto deletion of recordings,
  • E-mail account settings,


E-MAIL:

Several e-mail rules can be defined to send automatic mails;

  • Call information after conversation with or without voice file,
  • Call to/from certain numbers,
  • Reports on preprogrammed time intervals (rule can be defined according phone number, time, duration),
  • System alarms.


BACKUP:

  • Partial or incremental backup can be scheduled to CD/DVD or network drive.
  • An alarm is generated when remaining space lowers below specified space amount.


ALARMS:

Various audio-visual alarms are set according various system failures.
